Magenta Care LLC seeks a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver exceptional patient care in the Aberdeen, SD area. The position requires travel up to one to two hours outside Aberdeen to serve clients, ensuring seamless infusion therapy and patient safety.

Formación

• Valid South Dakota RN license or Multistate RN license (Compact).
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills; CPR and BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope of practice.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical team to develop care plans.
• Facilitate start of care through admission process.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences, and safety.
• Document changes in patient condition and communicate with team.
• Provide home health nursing adhering to standards and agency procedures.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy management and self-care.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and dignity.

The primary location for this position will be in Aberdeen, SD, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Aberdeen to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements

• Valid SD Registered Nurse (RN) license or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current South Dakota Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.
