Job summary

Magenta Care LLC seeks an experienced home infusion RN to provide high-quality patient care in Fayetteville, NC, with travel up to one to two hours to serve clients.

You will assess and manage patient care, collaborate with physicians, and educate families on infusion therapy while upholding patient safety and privacy.

Qualifications

• Valid NC RN license (or Multistate Compact) required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• NC driver's license with proof of insurability and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with families.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team on plans.
• Facilitate start of care through admission process.
• Act as patient advocate ensuring rights and safety.
• Document changes and communicate with team promptly.
• Deliver nursing care to home health patients per policies.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy and self-care.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and dignity.

The primary location for this position will be in Fayetteville, NC, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Fayetteville to serve our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements:

• Valid NC Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current North Carolina Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation
