Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver exceptional patient care in Durham, NC. The role requires travel up to one to two hours outside Durham to serve clients.

You will provide direct nursing care, collaborate with the care team, educate patients and families, and ensure privacy and dignity throughout infusion therapy.

Qualifications

• Valid NC RN license or Multistate Compact license.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (Infusion/ER/ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• CPR and Basic Life Support certification.
• Current NC Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within RN scope of practice.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdiscilinary team for care plans.
• Facilitate start of care through admission process.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences, and safety.
• Document changes in patient condition promptly to the team.

The primary location for this position will be in Durham, NC, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Durham to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements

• Valid NC Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current North Carolina Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation
