Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver exceptional patient care in Asheville, NC. This role requires travel up to one to two hours outside Asheville to serve our clients.

You will provide direct patient care, assess and plan, collaborate with physicians, educate patients on infusion therapy, and ensure patient safety and privacy in the home setting. Qualifications include an active NC RN license (compact), 1 year infusion/ER/ICU experience, valid driver’s license,

Qualifications

• Active NC RN license or multi-state (Compact) license.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in Infusion, ER or ICU.
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid NC driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope of practice.
• Assess and plan patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team on care plans.
• Facilitate admission/start of care for home health patients.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences and safety.
• Document changes in patient condition and communicate with the team.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The primary location for this position will be in Asheville, NC, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Asheville to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements

• Valid NC Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current North Carolina Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation
