Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated Home Infusion RN to deliver high-quality care in patients' homes, primarily in Winston-Salem, NC. The role involves direct patient care, coordination with physicians and the care team, and education for patients and families on infusion therapy.

Applicants should hold an NC RN license (or multi-state Compact), have at least 1 year of RN experience in infusion, ER, or ICU, and possess CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within RN scope

• Act as patient advocate ensuring rights and safety
• Document changes to patient condition and communicate promptly
• Provide home health nursing per standards and policies

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and dignity.

The primary location for this position will be in Winston-Salem, NC, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Winston-Salem to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements

• Valid NC Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU)
• Excellent IV insertion skills
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationCurrent North Carolina Driver's license with proof of insurability
• Reliable transportation
