Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a RN Health Care Facility Surveyor for a Quality Improvement Consulting Company. The role supports internal and external customers nationwide in a technically engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- This position is 100% remote with up to 75% travel. The Surveyor will serve as a team member or leader on various surveys (re-certification, comparative, complaint investigation, revisits) for long-term care and other healthcare facilities, including ambulatory surgical centers, ICFs/IID, ESRD, PRTF, hospitals, critical access hospitals, and hospices.
- Conduct on-site surveys to assess compliance with federal regulations.
- Prepare for surveys through off-site prep, facility tours, care observations, record reviews, and staff/family interviews.
- Evaluate healthcare quality, patient rights, and facility physical conditions.
- Communicate findings and deficiencies to facility personnel and during exit conferences.
- Determine and review plans of correction and conduct follow-up visits.
- Assist with training and participate in work groups as needed.
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing the SMQT.
- At least two years of recent surveyor experience in long-term care facilities.
- Current RN licensure.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to manage survey processes independently.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate effectively.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% on a regular basis.
