RN Health Care Facility Surveyor - Ohio (#1172)

Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to work with a Quality Improvement Consulting Company. The role involves supporting internal and external customers nationwide in a technically engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- This position is 100% remote with up to 75% travel.
- Serve as a team member or leader on various surveys (re-certification, complaint investigation, etc.) for long-term care and other healthcare facilities.
- Conduct surveys to assess compliance with federal regulations, including preparing off-site, touring facilities, observing care, reviewing records, and interviewing staff and families.
- Evaluate aspects of healthcare quality, patient rights, and facility physical conditions.
- Communicate deficiencies and ensure understanding of issues with facility personnel.
- Determine acceptability of correction plans and conduct follow-up surveys.
- Assist in training facility staff and participate in work groups as needed.
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing the SMQT.
- At least two years of recent experience as a surveyor in long-term care facilities.
- Current RN licensure.
- Ability to make independent decisions, set priorities, and communicate effectively.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% regularly.
