Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking an RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to support a Quality Improvement Consulting Company. The role involves working in a technically engaging environment supporting internal and external clients nationwide.

Responsibilities:

• This position is 100% remote with up to 75% travel. The Surveyor will participate as a team member or leader on various surveys (re-certification, complaint investigation, revisits) across long-term care and other healthcare facilities such as ambulatory surgical centers, ICFs/IID, ESRD, PRTF, hospitals, and hospices.
• Conduct on-site surveys to assess compliance with federal regulations, including preparation, facility tours, care observation, record reviews, and staff/family interviews.
• Evaluate healthcare quality, patient rights, and facility physical conditions.
• Communicate deficiencies to facility staff and during exit conferences, and determine acceptability of correction plans.
• Perform follow-up visits to monitor corrective actions.
• Assist with training and participate in work groups as needed.

Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing the SMQT.
• At least two years of recent surveyor experience in long-term care facilities.
• Current RN licensure.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to manage survey processes independently.
• Ability to travel up to 75% regularly.
