Job summary

Boone Health is seeking a registered nurse for our floating pool covering Labor & Delivery, Post Partum and NICU units. This part-time role requires 24 hours per week with a night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. and self-scheduling for four weekend shifts every six weeks.

Minimum two years of acute RN experience and an RN license are required. A $10,000 sign-on bonus and a $5,000 referral bonus are offered along with free employee parking.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of recent acute RN experience in the last three (3) years.
• RN license current in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families on managing illness or injury, post-treatment home care needs and medication administration.
• Floats to multiple inpatient units as needed, adapting to varied clinical environments while maintaining high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Uses critical thinking to assess and evaluate patient’s physical, psychosocial and emotional needs.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
