Job summary

Boone Health seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Medical/Surgical Float Pool. The role offers a night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., full-time 36 hours weekly, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

You will float across inpatient units, providing high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborating with the healthcare team. Requirements include a Nursing Diploma/Associate Degree and a current RN license, with a minimum of two years of recent acute RN experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Minimum of two years of recent acute RN experience.
• Night shift experience preferred.
• Float pool experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families on illness/injury management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration.
• Floats to multiple inpatient units based on organizational needs and adapts to varied clinical environments.
• Uses critical thinking to assess patient physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Develops and implements care plans with the healthcare team per standards of nursing care.
