Job summary

AdventHealth in Columbus, NC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our night shift team. You will perform assessments, develop care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, administer medications, and supervise nursing staff to ensure safe patient care.

Sign-on bonus: Up to $10,000 for eligible candidates. Strong clinical skills and EKG interpretation are required. Colorado? (Note: NC location will require NC licensure and adherence to hospital policies.)

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
RN license required in NC.
Basic computer skills, Windows-based programs.
Fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing).
Experience with acute care nursing beneficial.

Responsibilities

Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing patient assessments.
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans with interdisciplinary team.
Administer medications safely and monitor responses.
Supervise nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.
Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures.
Assist physicians with bedside procedures and tests.
Monitor labs and report abnormalities promptly.
Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
Maintain infection control and safety standards.
