Job summary

Northwell Health's Danbury Hospital is seeking a qualified RN to join the Float Pool on a full-time, on-site basis. The role entails night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am) with a 36-hour workweek and responsibility for direct patient care using the nursing process in collaboration with the health-care team.

Requirements include CT RN license and BLS. External candidates with 1+ year of acute care experience may qualify for a $10,000 sign-on bonus; internal transfers do not qualify.

Qualifications

• CT RN license is required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ year current RN Acute Care experience for external candidates.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessments and develops goal-directed plans of care.
• Implements nursing care with attention to patient needs.
• Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team and ensures compliance.
