Job summary

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Florida seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Float Pool on a PRN basis. You will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care, assess and plan care, and educate patients and families across Med/Surg, Telemetry, and PCU units.

The role requires FL RN licensure (or compact) within 60 days, a nursing diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), and current BLS/ACLS and NIHSS certifications.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license or compact license with FL active within 60 days
• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIHSS certification; CCRN/ONC/PCCN/ CMSRN not required but listed as preferred credentials

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Med/Surg, Telemetry, Progressive Care patients
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions
• Maintain and review patient records including test results
• Administer medications per physician orders
