Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our team. This role provides the unique opportunity to float between multiple areas across the nursing spectrum, delivering patient- and family-centered care in a busy acute care setting.

You will advocate for patients, perform nursing assessments, and develop plan-based care with a focus on continuous improvement. This PRN opportunity supports our mission of quality, compassionate care in Ocala, Florida.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required.
• Associate Degree, BSN preferred.
• 2 years of bedside nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of hire.
• No Travel Required.
• 1 year of experience Required Years of Experience.

• Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality
• Facilitate patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis
