Florida RN license required; BSN preferred. Two years of bedside nursing in acute care are common, with ACLS and BLS timelines for start dates. This role emphasizes teamwork and flexible coverage in a renowned hospital system.

Qualifications

• Requires Florida RN license and/or multistate license; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
• Associate Degree, BSN preferred.
• 2 years’ recent bedside nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality.
• Facilitate patient care by making nursing assessments and diagnoses.
• Provide plan-based care with a commitment to continuous improvement.
