Job summary

HCA Florida West Hospital is seeking a dynamic RN for its Float Pool (PRN) role. You will float across units, advocating for patients and families while maintaining confidentiality and high-quality care.

The ideal candidate will have Florida RN licensure, 2 years of bedside acute care experience, and BLS. ACLS is preferred and should be obtained within 6 months of hire; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start.
• 2 years’ of recent bedside nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire.
• BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality
• Facilitate patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis
• Provide plan based care with a commitment to continuous improvement
