Job summary

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is seeking a dynamic RN for its Float Pool PRN position. The role involves floating between several care areas, advocating for patients and families, and performing nursing assessments and diagnoses to deliver plan-based care.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida RN license with BLS, and has at least 2 years of bedside nursing experience in an acute care setting. ACLS is preferred and BSN is advantageous. This is a PRN opportunity with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license (or Approved multi-state license) with Florida license within 60 days after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider card required within 30 days of start.
• 2 years’ bedside nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• ACLS certification preferred, required within 6 months of hire.
• BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality.
• Facilitate nursing assessments and diagnoses.
