Job summary

The RNFA practices perioperative nursing with independence and collaborates with the surgical team for pre‑ and post‑operative care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with IL license.
• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification.
• Completion of accredited RNFA perioperative program.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon in general and specialized surgeries with equipment readiness.
• Provide patient care and support throughout perioperative care.
• Administer medications as required.
• Scrub and circulate as needed; monitor vital signs and patient status.
• Educate patient and family on operation and post‑operative care.
• Participate in post‑operative assessments and room turnover.
