Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with active license.
• “CNOR” perioperative nursing certification.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon in general and specialized surgeries.
• Collaborate with OR team to ensure trays, instrumentation, and supplies are ready.
• Provide patient care and support; administer medications.
• Perform surgical procedures such as bleeding control, suturing, draping, exposing tissue.
• Position and prepare patient on the operating table; monitor vital signs.
• Educate patient and family on operation and aftercare; communicate patient health.
• Perform post-operative assessments and monitor for pain or complications.
• Study patient history and health assessments; monitor incision healing.
• Participate in research; scrub and circulate as needed; manage supplies and equipment.
