Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license (Illinois) per IDFPR
• BLS certification within 30 days as per AHA
• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) is required

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon in general and specialized surgeries with OR team readiness
• Provide patient care and support
• Administer medications
• Scrub and circulate per unit needs
• Prepare supplies and equipment to ensure efficiency
• Monitor vital signs and patient status during/after surgery
• Educate patient and family on operation and aftercare
