Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, coordination of care, and ongoing education for complex patient populations.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, care planning, and patient/family education, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and support services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate degree in Nursing or nursing diploma.
• BSN in progress or within 3 years of hire.
• Six months of RN experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, accountability, teamwork, and commitment to ongoing education.
• Current and valid RN license to practice in NJ; BLS/CPR certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based practice and standards.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with the health care team.
• Perform assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Provide patient/family education and ensure understanding of care plans.
• Assist with patient discharges and documentation.
