Job summary

The RN will assess, plan, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, perform age-specific nursing tasks, and facilitate safe discharges while maintaining compliance with policies and evolving standards.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey RN license is required.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six or more months of relevant nursing experience OR active Nurse Residency participation.
• One+ year of RN experience strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Wound/ostomy knowledge preferred; national certification preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based standards and policies.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate plan of care with the health-care team and families.
• Document assessments, plans, and interventions in electronic records.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and compliant documentation.
• Support safe patient transitions and facilitate discharges.
