Job summary

Hackensack MeridianHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on delivering high-quality outcomes. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and collaborative practice across units.

The RN will coordinate care with physicians and support staff, participate in education, and support residency participants as needed, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License is required.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience or active Nurse Residency Program participation.
• Ability to learn quickly, accountability, teamwork, ongoing education, and patient-focused care required.
• BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for a specific patient population as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Delegate, validate, evaluate, and coordinate care as directed.
