Job summary
Citizens Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead the Emergency Department as Manager, full-time. The role combines clinical and operational leadership for the ED, including Trauma program oversight and serving as Emergency Preparedness Coordinator.
You will develop and revise ED policies, monitor quality data, and coordinate with medical staff and departments to ensure high standards of patient care and safety across a 365-day operation in Colby, Kansas.
Qualifications
- RN license in Kansas or eligibility to practice.
- Minimum 5 years nursing experience with at least 2 years in emergency department care settings.
- Prior leadership or charge nurse experience.
- Strong understanding of ED protocols.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Emergency Department operations and policy development.
- Monitor and review data to ensure quality patient care and engage in QA activities.
- Serve as liaison among ED staff, other departments, patients and community groups.
