Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions is seeking an RN Manager for the Emergency Department in Overland Park, KS. This full-time leadership role requires overseeing daily ED operations and nursing staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

The candidate should have 3+ years of ED leadership in acute care, an active RN license, and be prepared to obtain ACLS/TNCC/NIH Stroke Scale/ENPC or PALS within 90 days. BSN preferred or in progress.

Qualifications

• 3 years of ED leadership experience in acute care (manager level preferred).
• BSN is preferred or pursued with 2-year completion by hire date.
• Active RN license in practice state with a compact license; ACLS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, ENPC or PALS required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing leadership under the Director of Emergency Services and Chief Nursing Officer.
• Oversee daily function and staffing of the ED/unit to ensure high quality patient-centered care.
• Monitor nursing care against policies and hold staff accountable for quality and outcomes.
