Job summary

Corewell Health's Emergency Center in Troy, MI is a fast-paced Level 2 trauma center serving a high-volume patient population. As an RN, you’ll work nights in a busy environment, delivering comprehensive nursing care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You’ll use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, discharge patients, and engage in patient/family education. BLS and state RN licensure are required, with ACLS/TNCC/ENPC timelines noted.

Qualifications

• Must have nursing licensure in Michigan (RN) and be eligible for ongoing state registration.
• Degree requirements include diploma/associate or BSN with timing specified for new graduates.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire/transfer; ACLS/TNCC/ENPC as applicable within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process with patient/family centered care.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patient care under Nurse Leader guidance.
• Educate patients and families; document education in health records.
