Job summary

Corewell Health's Emergency Center in Troy is seeking a registered nurse for a night shift. The role involves delivering high acuity, patient-family centered care in a Level 2 trauma setting, with 36 hours per week and a 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. schedule.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge, while documenting education and collaborating with the care team to optimize outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years if new graduate.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS required on hire; ACLS within 6 months; TNCC within 1 year; ENPC within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
• Deliver patient-family centered care and collaborate with the Nurse Leader.
• Partner with patients/families to plan care, and develop teaching for patient education; document in health records.
