Job summary
Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for the Emergency Center to lead a fast-paced, high-acuity team and drive excellence in patient care. The role emphasizes safety, staff engagement, and operational oversight to meet organizational goals.
The position reports to the Director of Nursing and focuses on recruitment, retention, and the implementation of evidence-based practices to improve outcomes and staff satisfaction.
Qualifications
- BSN required.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience (Emergency/ICU/Critical Care).
- MI RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- One year of formal nursing leadership experience (external candidates).
- MSN preferred.
- Two years of informal leadership experience preferred for internal candidates.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and management of assigned units and services.
- Ensure safe and effective delivery of patient care and compliance with standards.
- Foster a culture of safety, engagement, and evidence-based practice.
- Support recruitment, retention, and staff development.
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
