Job summary

Corewell Health’s Dearborn Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Center. You’ll deliver professional nursing care in a level II trauma ED, partnering with the Nurse Leader and care teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role emphasizes patient-family centered care, education, and safe discharge planning.

Evening shifts, 36 hours per week, with variable days. MI RN licensure required, ACLS/TNCC/ENPC milestones and BLS on hire.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 5 years if new graduate.
• Graduates from non-accredited nursing programs need acute care experience or 2 years in licensed role and must pass NCLEX.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• BLS required on hire/transfer from designated organizations.
• ACLS within 6 months; TNCC within 1 year; ENPC within 15 months.
• Specialty certification highly recommended within 2 years.
• Prefer RN experience; Graduate Nurses considered.

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and patient-family centered care.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients.
• Partner with Nurse Leader and care teams; teach patients and families; document education.
