Ascension is seeking a Nursing Professional Development leader in Austin, TX. You will collaborate with clinical leaders to assess educational needs, develop and evaluate nursing education plans, and drive organization-wide NPD programs to support core competencies.

Qualifications include Texas RN licensure, BLS within 30 days, a nursing diploma, and a bachelor’s degree, with emphasis on ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing

Work Experience:

• Required professional licensure at time of hire.
