Job summary

Ascension in Kyle, TX is seeking a full-time Night Shift Registered Nurse to implement and monitor patient care plans and to serve as a primary coordinator across disciplines. You will note and carry out physician and nursing orders and support effective discharge planning with the health care team.

The role requires an accredited nursing diploma or current Texas RN licensure, plus BLS certification. You’ll join a mission-driven team at Seton Medical Center Austin, providing orthopaedic trauma

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required or licensure at time of hire.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire; RN credentialed from Texas Board of Nursing.
• Diploma or licensure must be active and in good standing with the Texas BON.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
