Job summary

Ascension's Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX is seeking an RN for the Observation department on a PRN day shift to coordinate patient care and implement care plans.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, document patient conditions, discharge planning, and carry out physician orders. Requires Texas RN license and BLS; diploma from an accredited nursing program.

Qualifications

• RN license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing prior to hire.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.

• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
