Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation department at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX. This PRN position covers day shift with patient care coordination responsibilities, including monitoring care plans and ensuring smooth discharge planning with the care team.

Required are a Diploma in Nursing, Texas RN license, and BLS certification; you’ll be joining a nonprofit Catholic health system renowned for its service and collaboration.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 month of hire. AHA or Red Cross accepted.
• RN credentialed from Texas Board of Nursing prior to hire date.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
