Job summary

Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX is hiring a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery on a full-time night shift. The role coordinates multidisciplinary care, monitors patient status, and supports discharge planning with the health team.

Minimum requirements include BLS within 30 days, Texas RN licensure, and ACLS; Neonatal Resuscitation, S.T.A.B.L.E., and related certifications are preferred. A sign-on bonus of up to $12,500 is available.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.

• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Preferred Credential(s):

• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
