Job summary

Bayside Rehabilitation in Florida is seeking an RN Staff Development Coordinator to lead education and training for our nursing team. This role supports hiring and onboarding, delivers continuing education, and helps ensure care teams are confident and compliant.

You will coordinate orientation, in-service training, and skills assessments, maintain training records, and collaborate with department leaders to address educational needs.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring and onboarding of new staff
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver orientation, ongoing education and training for all team members
• Ensure staff competencies are maintained through in-service programs and skills assessments
• Collaborate with department leaders to identify and address educational needs
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Support the Director of Nursing and leadership team with other assigned duties
• Other duties as assigned
