Job summary

Westside Oaks Rehab is seeking a skilled nursing education professional to develop and maintain the clinical competency of nursing staff serving residents with diverse needs. This role plans and implements ongoing staff training, orientation modules, and department in-services.

The position requires an active Florida RN license and a minimum of 3 years of related experience, with strong teaching and communication skills to support quality care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida.
• Minimum 3 years of directly related experience in nursing education or staff development.
• Strong oral and written communication and teaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and implements clinical training for all clinical staff.
• Develop new training tools, policies and procedures.
• Provides clinical modules during orientation to all employees using the appropriate material.
• Plans, coordinates, schedules and presents in-services for all departments (mandatory, voluntary and identified needs).
• Coordinates, implements and maintains records of all in-servicing for all staff.
• Attends and participates in in-service training, performance improvement committees, and other meetings as scheduled.
