Job summary

Saint Mary Home in West Hartford, CT, part of Trinity Health, is seeking an RN Staff Development Coordinator to lead in-service education across the community and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate new hire orientation, maintain education records, and participate in on-call rotations to support operational and clinical needs. A BSN or RN license and CPR training are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or RN license CT, active and unencumbered.
• Must be or willing to obtain CPR trainer certificate.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Minimum 2 years teaching or instructor experience planning programs.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and directs all in-service educational programs across the community.
• Ensures compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.
• Coordinates new hire orientation and maintains education records under the Administrator/ADON.
• Participates in an on-call rotation to support operations and clinical needs.
