Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, IL seeks a Registered Nurse to perform age-specific nursing assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate treatment. The nurse will administer medications, assist physicians, document plans, and educate patients and families.

Candidates should have a BSN or MSN from an accredited program with Illinois RN license and CPR certification, strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability.

Qualificações

• Bachelor/Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited program or accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (with commitment to complete BSN/MSN within 2 years).
• Illinois license to practice as a registered nurse (RN).
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients, including specialized treatments and prescribed medications.
• Collect physiological, psychosocial, and functional data to formulate nursing diagnoses.
• Assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Formulate nursing diagnoses and integrate into written assessments.
• Implement interventions and evaluate progress toward goals; modify plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care, home care, and referrals to resources.
• Prepare and provide reports on patient care plans and documentation.
• Review policies related to patient care to ensure comprehensive care.
