Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited program or an accredited BSN/MSN pathway.
• Illinois license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current CPR certification.
• Understanding of growth and development across lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients, including specialized treatments and prescribed medications.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and teams.
• Instruct patients and families on care, outcomes, and home care.
• Assess patients, identify status changes, establish priorities, and recognize crises.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and document outcomes.
• Prepare reports on patient care plans and ensure accurate documentation.
