Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in nursing with a license to practice in Illinois.
• Illinois RN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Commitment to obtaining BSN/MSN within 2 years if not already.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients, including specialized treatments and medications.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and care teams.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Formulate and document nursing diagnoses and care plans.
• Assess patients and identify changes in status to set priorities.
• Implement and adjust care plans based on progress and goals.
• Educate patients and families about care, home care, and discharge planning.
• Prepare reports and documentation for health team members.
