Job summary

Shirley Ryan AbilityLab is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized, age-appropriate nursing assessments and comprehensive care coordination for patients. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to develop care plans, educate patients and families, and ensure safe, effective treatment across the hospital setting.

Requirements include BSN or MSN, Illinois RN license, CPR/BLS, and strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Illinois license to practice as a registered nurse (RN).
• Current CPR or BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients, including specialized treatments and medications.
• Collect data to formulate nursing diagnoses and develop care plans.
• Assist physicians during examinations and treatments; coordinate patient care across departments.
