Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - Sierra Campus in El Paso, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full‑time day shift. The role provides direct clinical patient care, coordinates nursing care, supervises staff, and supports the CNO to ensure high quality, safe, cost‑effective care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, ensuring safety and infection control, participating in emergency planning (HICS), and maintaining knowledge of hospital codes.

Qualifications

• Must have nursing degree and active nursing license.
• 1 year of RN experience for PRN status.
• Current BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe nursing care to assigned patients.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
• Administer medications safely and timely per hospital policy.
• Perform and fulfill HICS responsibilities during emergencies.
• Supervise staff and ensure appropriate care delegation.
• Know and follow hospital emergency codes and policies.
