Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - Trans Mountain Campus in El Paso, TX is seeking a Night Shift RN to provide direct clinical patient care and oversee staff on a per-shift basis. You will support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high-quality, safe nursing care, competency, and efficient resource use.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, administering medications, and fulfilling hospital incident command duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
• Required: 1 year of RN experience for PRN status.
• Preferred: Recent acute care experience.
• Required: Current license/certification to practice nursing; BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care per shift and unit requirements.
• Assess, plan, implement and coordinate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Supervise staff and ensure safe, quality, cost-effective care.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
• Fulfill HICS responsibilities and follow emergency codes.
• Maintain safety, risk management and infection control standards.
