Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - East Campus in El Paso, TX is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct clinical patient care on a day shift. You will assess, plan, implement care and supervise staff to ensure safe, high-quality nursing services per policy and procedure.

The role emphasizes coordination of patient care within the medical regime, administration of medications, and adherence to infection control and emergency protocols. CPR/AHA BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a state approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
• CPR certification and license to practice nursing as required by state.
• AHA BLS; ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP if applicable.
• Recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care on a per-shift basis.
• Supervise staff and delegate appropriate care.
• Coordinate patient care with the medical team and hospital policies.
• Administer medications safely and promptly.
• Perform HICS responsibilities and know hospital emergency codes.
