Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - East Campus in El Paso, TX seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for day shift, full-time. The role focuses on direct patient care, supervision of staff, and adherence to safety standards.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and coordinate care, administer medications, and support quality outcomes within a dynamic acute care setting. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Required: Graduated from a state approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
• CPR certification required; AHA BLS; ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP as applicable by policy.

Responsibilities

• The RN provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients.
• The RN coordinates and integrates patient care based on the nursing process.
• Administers medications safely and timely per hospital policy.
• Performs hospital incident command system responsibilities during emergencies.
• Adheres to hospital codes and policies.
