Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a registered nurse to supervise and coordinate care for a group of complex patients. The role involves initial assessments, ongoing monitoring, and leadership within the unit, with CN II progression on the Mercy CHP ladder.

The position is part-time (24 scheduled hours weekly) with night shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) and weekend work. Orientation, BLS/CPR recertification, and professional development support are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Complete orientation and probation; sign off.
• Maintain 12 contact hours CE annually incl. Fire Safety & BLS/CPR.
• Knowledge with varied patient care; strong verbal/written communication.
• BLS/CPR recertification.

Responsibilities

• Care for a group of complex patients with ongoing monitoring.
• Coordinate nursing care and demonstrate leadership.
• Precept new employees as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
