Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Staff Nurse to care for a group of complex patients with initial assessment and ongoing monitoring. This role demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and coordination of care within the Mercy (CHP) ladder framework.

Requires Ohio RN licensure and graduation from an accredited nursing program; ongoing CE (12 hours/yr) including Fire Safety and BLS/CPR recertification. Shift is 7am–7pm, 36 weekly hours, with every other weekend/holiday.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• Completion of orientation and probationary period.
• Minimum 12 contact hours of CE annually including Fire Safety and BLS/CPR Recertification.
• Theoretical knowledge with clinical experience in diverse patient groups.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of ER assignment and ongoing BLS/CPR recertification.
• Neonatal and Pediatric Life Support encouraged.
