Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse to fill the Clinical Supervisor role for weekend coverage.

The RN-Weekend supervises staffing, patient flow, bed management, and ensures adherence to Mercy Service Standards while guiding bedside staff in safe, high-quality care during night shifts. Qualified candidates hold an RN license in Missouri (or compact), an Associate degree or diploma in nursing, and 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience; BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure units are appropriately staffed to provide patient care.
• Collaborate with the Staffing Office on patient flow and bed management.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff, promoting change and professional accountability.
• Uphold Mercy Service Standards and evaluate care processes with the Clinical Manager.
