Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Supervisor for a weekend night schedule.

The role ensures safe, high‑quality patient care, optimal staffing, and efficient bed management while mentoring staff and modeling professional standards. You will collaborate with physicians, administration and the Staffing Office to optimize patient flow, communicate across shifts, and lead change initiatives in line with Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• RN license in MO or compact licensure
• 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (program types listed)

Responsibilities

• Ensure units are appropriately staffed to provide patient care.
• Proactively manage patient flow and bed availability in collaboration with Staffing Office.
• Collaborate with physicians, administrative personnel and co-workers to improve processes.
• Lead change initiatives and mentor staff to promote Mercy Service Standards.
