Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Clinical Supervisor on the weekend night shift. You will ensure safe, high-quality care, optimal staffing, and efficient patient flow while collaborating with physicians and administrative staff.

You will lead units, mentor coworkers, uphold Mercy standards, and participate in evaluations with the Clinical Manager to drive change and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: ADN, Diploma, or BSN.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Missouri or compact licensure per state regulations.
• 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure unit staffing levels to provide safe patient care.
• Oversee patient flow and bed management in collaboration with Staffing Office.
• Collaborate with physicians and administrative staff to improve processes and communications.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff to foster professional development.
